Learn to Cook Like an Italian with House of Peroni Masterclasses – Tickets Now on Sale

Following on from roaring success last summer, The House of Peroni makes its eagerly awaited return to the rooftops of Dublin from Thursday, 25th May until Sunday, 4th June 2017, with another two-week residency at 1 Dame Lane, Dublin 2. The residency will bring to life Gusto d’Italia, the flavours of Italy, with an exciting food offering that includes fresh daily pasta specials, Neapolitan-style pizza, cicchetti bites, and a few new twists on traditional Italian gelato.

For those who want to truly immerse themselves in the Italian food experience, House of Peroni Masterclasses will comprise of a series of exclusive workshops with some of Dublin’s hottest young talents – Peroni Nastro Azzurro’s Italian food experts – Master of Dolci, Chef Aoife Noonan, Master of Pizza Michael Ryan and Master of Mixology, Federico Riezzo.

These special ticketed House of Peroni Masterclasses range in price from €20 to €30. All ticket-holders can enjoy two complimentary Peroni Nastro Azzurro drinks during their class as they learn the ropes of Italian kitchen mastery. The Art of Aperitivo

Dates: Thursday 25th, Friday 26th, Saturday 27th, Sunday 28th, Wednesday, 31st May and Thursday, 1st June, Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Sunday , 4th June
Time: 6pm
Price: €20

Immerse yourself in the classic Italian culture of aperitivo and learn how to make your own aperitivo drink with The House of Peroni’s Master of Mixology, Federico Riezzo. Italian aperitivo-style bites will also be served during the masterclass.

The Art of Woodfired Pizza

Dates: Saturday 27th, Sunday, 28th May, and Saturday 3rd, Sunday, 4th June
Time: 3pm
Price: €25

Master of Pizza, Michael Ryan from Dublin Pizza Company, will lead this House of Peroni Masterclass on how to make and shape the ultimate pizza dough, while choosing the best traditional Italian toppings. Guests will then have their pizza cooked for them in The House of Peroni’s wood-fired oven, before being enjoyed alongside a Peroni Nastro Azzurro drink.

The Art of Dolci

Dates: Sunday 28th, Wednesday, 31st May and Sunday, 4th June
Time: 7.30pm
Price: €25

Enjoy an evening of Italian dolci, or desserts, with the residency’s Master of Dolci, Aoife Noonan. Aoife will share her knowledge of Italian desserts gleaned from her work as Executive Pastry Chef at Luna. She will take guests on a delicious food journey, as they learn how to create sweet Italian treats from scratch.

The Art of Pasta

Dates: Thursday, 25th May and Thursday, 1st June
Time: 7.30pm
Price: €30

Learn the secrets of how to make pasta dough from scratch and craft it into traditional pasta shapes under the watchful eye of Italian chef and pasta maker, Guiseppe Crupi. The freshly made pasta will then be cooked to order for participants to enjoy with a refreshing Peroni Nastro Azzurro.

The House of Peroni Masterclasses take place at The House of Peroni, which is open to the public at 1 Dame Lane, Dublin 2 from Thursday, 25th May until Sunday, 4th June, 2017. There is no admission fee and no booking required for entry to the main areas. Guests will be admitted on a first come, first served basis. Over 18’s only.
