This Iconic Dublin Bar Reopens this November Following a Bespoke Refurbishment

One of Dublin’s most recognisable venues is set to make a shining return this November following a massive refurbishment. Since opening in 1993, Café en Seine quickly became one of the most popular bars in the city.

The newly designed space will offer guests several dining spaces and will serve an extensive food menu, catering for all appetites. For guests looking for a laid-back, casual dining option they can choose to dine at the bar and enjoy sharing plates while sipping hand-crafted cocktails.

If you prefer a more formal dining experience, you can choose the à la carte menu in the specially designated restaurant.

Known for its spacious interior, Café en Seine will still retain its high-end bar service with bespoke bars spread over seven areas.

Mirroring the opulence of the inside, the refurbishment will now feature an indoor-outdoor street garden. This Parisian-inspired botanical bar and dining space will have its own entrance from the rear of the building, located on Anne’s Lane.

The outdoor garden will be suitable for our Irish weather as it has a retractable glass roof – perfect for those rainy days. During the day, guests can indulge in culinary delights and at night, the space will be transformed into a lively bar.

Following the announcement, David Murray, Café en Seine’s General Manager said: “A lot of thought, research and planning has gone into the re-design of Café en Seine. We are one of Dublin’s most iconic venues and we want to continue that legacy for many years to come.”

Continuing on, David said: “The new Café en Seine will offer the same great service that we are famous for. To add to this, we have re-imagined the space to ensure it caters for the modern customer. Everything from the venue layout, to the food offering to the drinks service, has the customer in mind. We look forward to opening the doors this November welcoming a new era for Café en Seine, its staff and its customers.”
