Over 300 invited guests gathered in their summer best at the five-star InterContinental Dublin in Ballsbridge for La Dolce Vita-themed midsummer garden party last week. Soaking up the rays, guests enjoyed a feast of Italian fare, in-keeping with the theme of the evening.
Guests feasted on delights like fresh pasta as well as an Italian cheese station and a sumptuous BBQ in the gardens. For those who had room for dessert, there was creamy gelato handed out from a funky Italian gelato bike and delicious authentic Tiramisu – perfect Italian indulgence.
Swing band the Irish Rat Pack entertained the crowd with their jazzy big band numbers while guests sipped on refreshing Aperol Spritzes, Prosecco and Gunpowder Gin classic Negronis.
Actress Aoibhín Garrihy and her sister Ailbhe, broadcaster Lorraine Keane, rugby pundit Brent Pope, bubbly beauty expert Tríona McCarthy and style icon Celia Holman-Lee were among those in attendance. A 1968 Alfa Romeo Spider even made an appearance to top off the La Dolce Vita experience and round out a fantastic evening!
