Have a Hot Tipple and Get Involved – It’s Irish Coffee Day for Movember

Every year, November brings out the moustache on the guys to help raise awareness of prostate cancer, organised by The Movember Foundation, so why not do your bit with a strong, hot Irish Coffee in aid of Movember this month.

The leading global organisation needs your help, and this year Oisin Davis of Great Irish Beverages is getting back on board by encouraging the nation with an Irish Coffee Day, that will take place on November 17th.

Irish Coffee Day Movember

Their campaign aims to get people involved, by hosting a day of fundraising at your office or in your neighbourhood, and raise money for Movember, committed to changing the face of men’s health that will benefit both Irish Cancer Society and Action Prostate Cancer.

Furthermore Great Irish Beverages is asking pub, bars and restaurants in Ireland to help by donating proceeds from every Irish Coffee sold on the day to the very worthy cause. Teaming up with The Bartender Project, they’ve even created a nifty video of “how to nail the perfect Irish Coffee, every time!”

This year’s Movember campaign states that “men are facing a health crisis that isn’t being talked about. They are dying too young and before their time.”

Donating is very simple too as, if you can’t get to your local in time for Irish Coffee Day, you can make a contribution to the campaign by visiting their event page on Movember.

Join in on the conversation before and on November 17th by using #IrishCoffeeDay, and be part of the fight.
