What better way to celebrate St.Patrick’s weekend than with a visit to the Irish Beer and Whiskey Festival in the RDS March 13th – 17th. The event now in it’s fourth year will be offering visitors the best of Irish craft beer, live music, artisan food, brewer talks, masterclasses and so much more. There will be over 25 craft beers and ciders to choose from and 4 top whiskey brands to sample including the much loved Teeling Whiskey and Dingle Distillery. For the rugby fans there will be a live panel hosted by Niall Woods and Shane Byrne covering the rugby over the weekend.
The festival is fully indoors so no need to worry about the weather as you enjoy a masterclass or two and soak up the festive atmosphere and live music. Tickets are priced at only €10 and include entry, live music, free souvenir glass and free half pint!

GETTING TO THE FESTIVAL
Ireland’s largest celebration of Irish craft brewing returns to RDS – fabulous Irish artisan food, 300+ beers, ciders, whiskeys and a few cocktails, MANY, available ONLY at fest!
The RDS is serviced by bus route numbers 4,7,8 and 18 (directly) which stop outside the Main Hall Entrance to the RDS on Merrion Road. These bus services can be availed of on Nassau Street outside Trinity College. Route numbers 46a & 145 are walking distance.
Outside Trinity College, take Nassau Street (N11) for about 150 metres then turn right following the signposts for the R118. Follow the R118 (also known as Mount Street which becomes Merrion Road) for approximately 2km. The RDS Main Complex will be situated on the right hand side and parking is in Merrion Road car park.
Dublin DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transport) services also operate from the City Centre to Ballsbridge. Travel southbound to Lansdowne or Sandymount stations.
