Irish Distillers Named World Whiskies Producer Of The Year at ISC Awards

Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard was named World Whiskies Producer Of The Year at the International Spirits Challenge, a prestigious international competition held at the Honourable Artillery Company in London last 6th of July. The competition received more than 1,300 entries from over 70 participating countries.

Brian Nation, Head Distiller at Irish Distillers received the award and praised “the dedication and commitment of the passionate craftspeople at the Middleton Distillery past and present.” He added that it was a “huge honour to be part of the team that is collectively recognised as producer of the year for all world whiskeys, and a fantastic motivation to continue crafting our award-winning products with the utmost care and consistency.”

Besides the collective recognition to Irish Distillers, several of its whiskeys achieved individual accolades. As reported on retail publication Shelflife, these are the medal winners from the company:
