Love gin? Love pancakes? Then you better sit down for this one… The beautiful Tigh Nora bar in Galway is celebrating Pancake Tuesday with gin pancakes. Drop by the gorgeous gin bar this Tuesday 13th of February from 12:00 noon to indulge.
The bar, known as one of the gin bars in Ireland, is located on Cross Street in the heart of The Latin Quarter, and it’s named after Nora Barnacle, the wife and muse of James Joyce.
Visit it today and savour pancakes with vanilla ice cream infused with the multi award-wining Drumshambo Gunpowder Irish Gin from The Shed Distillery by P. J. Rigney, along with Mór Irish Gin infused in a pineapple and mango compote.
At Tigh Nora, they stock almost 200 gins and the selection is constantly growing. They’ve also an extensive range of tonic waters to choose from as well as the finest garnishes, so no matter your preferences, you’ll find the perfect Gin & Tonic for you.
The gin pancakes will be served all afternoon until 8:00 pm and they promise to be the ultimate treat for gin aficionados.
We recently spoke with Shane McMahon, Tigh Nora’s manager (who also runs other Galway favourites The Front Door Bar & Restaurant and Sonny Molloy;s Whiskey Bar). Shane mentioned that: “Tigh Nora is all about the Gin loving community, with nearly two hundred different types of gin.” Read his full interview on TheTaste.
