Steak, Whiskey, and Jazz – This Might Just be the Tastiest Event at Cork’s Taste Jazz Festival

If some of your favourite things in life include Irish whiskey, live jazz music, and the finest steaks then you’ll want to snap up a ticket for ‘Jazz Cuts’, the exclusive event 2017 event hosted by Holy Smoke restaurant on October 25th, as part of Taste Jazz festival which runs in the city from 23rd to 26th October.

On the night local jazz band Riff Raft will descend on the popular Cork restaurant, the perfect match for the feast of delicious steaks that will be paired with Irish whiskeys from Jameson distillery.

From Tomahawk to Flat Iron and Sirloin to Picanha, guests on the night will get a taste of four of the very best cuts of local beef prepared over open-fire by Holy Smoke’s renowned Pitmasters John Relihan and Decky Walsh.

The whiskey pairings have been expertly chosen by Gerard Garland, an Irish Whiskey Ambassador with over 16 years’ experience in the drinks industry.

During the evening, you will learn about cereal, brewing, distillation, and maturation of each of the whiskeys.
