The Kilkenny Craft Beer Festival returns to the Marble City today until Sunday July 10th, celebrating the growing craft beer industry in Ireland.
With a focus on micro breweries and small, independent producers, the festival aims to connect these businesses with potential retail partners and customers. For the second year running beer lovers can come and enjoy a wide range of expertly crafted beers through a great programme of tastings and events.
The highlight of the festival will be Ireland’s largest craft beer tasting on Friday July 8th with over 300 micro brewed beers. On Saturday celebrate the art of draught beer at Craft on Draught Fest which will feature over 20 breweries.
Other events taking place over the festival include an Outdoor Cinema & Beer Tasting at Billy Byrnes on John Street, meet the brewers at A Sester of Brewers in Brewery Corner, Parliament Street and a Walking (and drinking!) Tour of Kilkenny.
You can also catch the final of the Euros at Bridies, Billy Byrnes & Brewery Corner on Sunday July 10th with a beer themed face off of craft beers from each of the countries in the final.
