This weekend, Killarney is the place to be for beer lovers as the Killarney Beerfest 2017 will bring demonstrations, tastings, opportunities to meet with the brewers, workshops and more to the city. The event will take place at Killarney’s INEC from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th of May.
The event will serve as an occasion to celebrate the Beoir Beer Awards 2017, open to all Irish breweries and judged by independent Beer consumer groups lead by Reuben Gray of Beoir, CAMRA and EBCU members. This year’s overall winner will be given the opportunity to Brew an Exclusive Craft Beer for Carry Out Licence, sponsors of the festival.
Besides craft beer, the event will include a selection of craft whiskey, gin and cider to sample, as well as numerous food options to accompany your tipple of choice.
Entertainment will be provided by a selection of guest bands including The Tom Cats, The Rising, The Small Hours, The Whileaways and more. You can check out the whole line-up here.
