TV Star Laura Whitmore Launches the World’s First Connected Restaurant

Tv presenter and Dublin native, Laura Whitmore, was in town yesterday to launch the world’s very first Connected Restaurant. The restaurant is powered by Samsung technology and the Three network and will allow friends and family from all corners of the globe to come together and enjoy a Christmas dinner like never before.

The Connected Restaurant will be open for just four days from Thursday 29th November – Sunday 2nd December, situated on Clarendon Street in Dublin, while its counterpart will be on Holt St, Surrey Hills in Sydney Australia.

Speaking at the launch Aislinn O’Connor, Head of Brand and Marketing Communications, Three commented “At Three, we understand that people use our network every day for creating and sharing their special moments with loved ones far and near. Christmas, in particular, is the time of year we all want to take time to catch up with family and friends but for many reasons, not everyone can make it home for Christmas in Ireland.”

Loved ones who are over 17,000 kilometres will be able to connect with their family and friends abroad as if they were sitting at the same dinner table.

From the minute diners arrive at the Connected Restaurant they will be greeted by host Mateo Saina, and then guided to their table. Guests will enjoy a unique festive three-course menu, as well as lots of special surprises along the way.

Speaking at the launch Laura Whitmore said, “I’m delighted to team up with Three and Samsung to launch the Connected Restaurant here in Dublin which is such a unique and clever concept. My job often means that I have to travel for long periods of time so staying connected with family and loved ones is very important to me and I’m always on the lookout for new and innovative ways to do this.

Continuing on Laura said; It’s great that with The Connected Restaurant, family and friends can create and share memorable experiences at one of the most important times of the year despite being thousands of miles apart.”

We are excited to partner with Three to create the Connected Restaurant which will highlight how families and friends can be together, no matter the distance, through Samsung’s innovation of connected technology.”

This is a truly unique dining experience that is not to be missed. Reservations are now available online with limited places available. This one of a kind meal is fully complementary to all guests who have confirmed their bookings.
