In celebration of Spanish Wine Week, The Legal Eagle is hosting a special Nose to Tail evening that food and wine lovers won’t want to miss. Titled “Indie Spain”, the occasion will bring a very special selection of wines from independent and exciting regions and producers into the spotlight, accompanied by a carefully chosen array of unique tapas with an Irish twist.
Taking place on April 24th at 7:00 pm, the delightful evening will see tempting dishes by chef Ian Connolly. The menu includes dishes like Agusti Torello Mata, Cava Rosat Brut Reserva Trepat, Penedès with Pork scratchings & smoked oyster mayo.
Wine-wise, we will put the classics aside for the occasion, so that you can discover other very special varieties and up and coming regions, such as wines from Gran Canaria.
It’s a chance to taste 6 wines from lesser known regions of Spain or from grapes you may have never heard of. We’ll also be championing wineries with organic, biodynamic and natural wine making methods, chosen by Seán Gargano, sommelier of The Legal Eagle. The tasting will be guided by Seán and Gaby Guedez, TheTaste’s wine writer.
Expect a relaxed and chill evening, with friendly atmosphere, surprising flavours and a different take on Spanish wine.
