Lemon & Duke Opens Today at the Royal Hibernian Way

The all new Lemon & Duke opens today at the junction of Dublin’s Lemon Street and Duke Lane Upper, just steps from Grafton Street. With the promise of good food, tank beer, a unique draft range and a stylish but welcoming vibe, the latest venture of the team behind the recently extended Ballsbridge bar The Bridge 1859 is a most welcome addition to Dublin’s bar scene.

Located at a privileged location, the corner site of the Royal Hibernian Way, it is light and bright for morning coffee and lunch, and becomes a more sophisticated late night venue, ideal for dinner and drinks with a live DJ.

Interior specialists O’Donnell O’Neill Design have balanced a raw honest interior with tactile materials such as a timber bar top and a red glazed brick feature wall. Light oak floors and full height windows pull in the daylight, haloing the warm copper tones throughout, the soft lemon leather upholstery and the angular mid-century Danish furniture.

Lemon & Duke joins The Bridge as the only places in Ireland where you can enjoy fresh unpasteurised Pilsner Urquell from their unique tank system. Together with a large collection of draught and bottle beers and a bespoke cocktail list, the drinks offering is comprehensive and carefully thought out.

The menus will be revised over coming weeks to reflect the preferences of the city centre clientele. Stand out dishes on the lunch menu include Shrimp Po’boy on Hoagie Roll €10 (served with shredded Chinese leaf, vine tomato, jalapeno relish and miso-lime aioli) and Grilled Honey Chicken €8/€10 (a salad of sweet potato and red lentil, candied walnuts, pumpkin seeds and lemon and ginger vinaigrette). Mains from the Evening Menu include the Lemon & Duke Beef Burger €16 (Brioche bap, bacon jam, pimento cheddar, tobacco onions, sweet potato fries, sriracha aioli) and Pan-fried Hake €20 (Tomato and mussel broth, samphire, capers, brown butter).

Lemon & Duke will open 7 days from 10am for coffees and pastries. Lunch is served from 11am to 3pm and evening food is served from 3pm – 10pm. Book now for groups and parties:
