Dromoland Castle is one of Ireland’s most iconic five-star hotels in Ireland. Set on a 450-acre estate, Dromoland Castle features lavish interiors, fantastic fine dining and spectacular views. We fell in love with this newly refurbished estate on our most recent visit.
Overlooking the shores of Lough Dromoland, you can now enjoy a special seasonal treat and spend an afternoon getting into the Christmas spirit with Dromoland Castle’s Luxurious Festive Afternoon Tea.
Take a seat by the inviting open fires in the historic grandeur of the castle, as you indulge in a Festive Afternoon Tea. This three-tiered festive feast has been expertly created by Executive Head Chef David McCann and is the perfect way to get you into the spirit of the Winter season.
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with mulled wine as they settle in for an afternoon of luxury. Diners can enjoy a variety of delicate finger sandwiches, along with warm mince pies, homemade scones with jams and clotted cream as well as chocolate roulade and seasonal pastries.
To pair with Dromoland Castle’s Festive Afternoon Tea, there is a wide selection of teas and coffees for guests to enjoy, including Dromoland’s own signature blend tea.
Guests will finish their festive afternoon tea with some delicious mince pies, Christmas ice-cream and eggnog, the perfect sweet ending to your meal.
If you want to treat your family to a festive afternoon, a relaxing escape or just a little treat for yourself, Dromoland Castle’s Festive Afternoon Tea is the ideal experience this season.
