We’ll Meet You There – Day Time Favourite Meet Me In The Morning to Host Evening Supper Club

Meet Me In The Morning, the popular day time eatery on Pleasant’s Street, just off Camden Street, Dublin, will host a Beaujolais Nouveau wine evening this November 16th.

On the evening guests can order “wine by the glass, and food by the plate” from 6pm until 11pm.

This evening follows the success of the cafe’s first evening event last month. In celebration of Goatober they served a seven-course menu using goat meat or milk in each course, paired with three natural wines from La Caveau.

While the menu for the upcoming wine dinner has yet to be revealed diners can expect dishes that include lots of local produce, from the likes of McNally Family Farm and Ballyhoura Mountain Mushrooms, house made ferments and pickles, and the spoils the their frequent foraging trips.

The evening menu will be served with Beaujolais Nouveau by the glass, a red wine made from Gamay grapes produced in the Beaujolais region of France.

Meet Me In The Morning opened last year and was swiftly awarded winner of Best Café in Dublin 2017 Irish Restaurant Awards.

This autumn, alongside the original cafe which has seats inside and outside, they opened a second outlet offering coffee and takeaway food ‘To Go’.

Fans of the cafe have become accustomed to their innovative breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes like Egg and Greens with Gubbeen chorizo and signature doughnuts that are filled with the likes of Pumpkin Cheesecake, Peanut Cream and Seabuckthorn Buckthorn Curd.
