Dublin’s thirst for craft cocktails and premium gins has sparked both new openings and menu revamps across the city. Tomorrow 1st of December, a new bar will join the list of places where you can sip on signature tipples and enjoy the finest side of the juniper spirit. Bitter & Twisted, located at 79 West Street Drogheda, will welcome its first guests at 8:30 pm.
Visit them and enjoy their expertly crafted cocktails or their great selection of beers.
Bitter & Twisted’s director, Cian Ward told TheTaste that one of the main strengths of the bar will be the fact that they craft their own liqueurs, bitters and syrups, as they hope to offer the best tasting cocktails they can. Without the limitation of on what you can do with ingredients and the freshness and creativity that comes with artisan preparations, they expect to mix some of the most interesting and unique drinks in the area.
Bitter & Twisted menu takes inspiration from avant-garde cocktail destinations. Cognac masterclasses in Stockholm, a trip to one of the world’s best Gin & Tonic bars in Amsterdan and even ice carving lessons were some of the steps they took to come up with a distinctive and appealing offer up to the latest trends.
Among their exciting cocktails, you’ll find treats like the “Coco Loco”, a tiki tipple made with chilli, chocolate and rum; as well as an spiced take on the Old Fashioned and of course, modern G&T and other appealing gin cocktails.
