New Hatch and Sons Restaurant to Open on the North Side

Hatch and Sons has established itself as a firm favourite and a go to restaurant for good, honest Irish food in the city centre. Part of the Kemp sister’s restaurant group which also includes cafés Itsa, Alchemy and Joe’s, the restaurant occupies a cosy basement space in the Little Museum of Dublin on St. Stephen’s Green but has just announced expansion across the Liffey.

Domini and Peaches Kemp also run the popular Gallery Cafe at the National Gallery of Ireland and it has today been confirmed that Hatch and Sons will open a second location on Parnell Square, to be housed in the Hugh Lane Gallery. They are no strangers to providing a great cup of coffee steeped in culture and will bring their Hatch and Sons ethos of celebrating the best of Irish ingredients to the Dublin City Gallery.

Classic Hatch and Sons you can expect to see on the menu range from a selection of tempting Waterford Blaas, think Traditional Irish Spiced Beef, Coolea, Onion Relish & Rapeseed Mayo , comforting mains like Beef and Guinness Stew and expertly curated boards showcasing fine Irish artisan delights from producers like Burren Smokehouse, St. Tola and Mossfield.

With fantastic coffee from The Barn Berlin served alongside rustic cakes, pastries and desserts, Hatch and Sons prides itself on being an Irish Kitchen, so is perfectly placed among beacons of Irish art in the Hugh Lane Gallery. As admission to the Gallery is free, there’s no excuse not to check out this new addition to the North Side.
