Come ‘Taste the Island’ with the new Autumn/Winter menu at The Morrison. Celebrating the best of Irish produce sourced from all around the island of Ireland, Chef Sushil Kumar has created a menu that offers the comfort food you want on cold rainy days but is also fresh, local and seasonal. With Sandwiches, Soups, Salads, Starter, Mains, Sides, Josper cooked Steaks, Bar Classics and Burgers, there’s plenty to choose from. The recently refurbished restaurant and bar, with enviable views out over the Liffey, is the perfect place for lunch, dinner, or just a drink and nibbles.
Suppliers include Ballon Meats and James Whelan for The Morrison’s Beef, Lamb is Slaney Lamb, Seafood is Wrights of Marino, Cheese is Hegarty Farmhouse with Potatoes from Meade Potato Company and Blue Cheese by Cashel Blue. Bread is by Bretzel Bakery and Jinny’s Bakery. There’s familiar names too on the dessert menu with Teelings and Bailey’s featuring.
Try a trio of classic dishes with a local flavour – for starter Castletownbere Scallops €14.50, served with O’Neill’s black pudding, pancetta and celeriac bisque, the new burger Brother from another Mother €21, a Josper grilled 9oz Hereford steak burger topped with Cashel Blue, a fried free range egg and red onion marmalade, on a brioche bun and served up with chunky chips! For dessert, indulge in the Teeling Whiskey Poached Pear €7.50, with cocoa soil, crème anglaise and brown bread ice-cream!
All day dining makes The Morrison the ideal destination. The Morrison Grill Menu is served daily from 12pm to 10pm. The Orly Bird menu, from 4pm to 7pm, at €27 for 2 courses and €31 for 3 courses is popular for a post-shopping catch up, as is the Bar Classics menu.
