After Taking Over the Mexican Jungle Noma’s Next Venture Will Pop Up Under a Bridge

After selling out their recent pop up restaurant on the fringes of the Mexican jungle, with tickets costing $600, Copenhagen’s most famous eatery Noma has revealed the details of it’s latest venture: a pop-up called Under the Bridge.

As you might have guessed from the name, the pop up will open in an under the Knippelsbro Bridge in Noma’s home base in Copenhagen.

In a statement on their website the former number one restaurant in the world confirmed that Noma 2.0 is still on track to open in December and that the creative team is currently traveling through the Nordic region to revisiting current collaborators and seeking out new ones.

The rest of the 30 strong team aren’t staying idle however, with sous chefs and restaurant managers collaborating to open their own “outdoor, family style, open fire restaurant” popup restaurant in the Danish city.

For 1000 DKK, or just shy of €135, ticket holders will be treated to a fixed menu inclusive of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Little is known about will be on the menu but we do know that it will draw from the chef’s international background, who will cook how “they want to” and not necessarily adhering to Noma’s signature style.

The website gives little away describing it as “a menu of simple delicious food that they would eat themselves on a summer night.”

Noma is borrowing the unique outdoor space from their wine suppliers, Rosforth & Rosforth, who are also involved in the project.

The pop up will operate for 35 nights of service, open Wednesday to Sunday from 19th of July until the 3rd of September.

Tickets are still available for sale here, but seeing as tickets for Noma’s Mexican pop-up sold out in a matter of hours you’d have to wonder for how long.
