Piglet Wine Bar is Celebrating Rhone Wine Week with a Very Special Dinner

Rhone Wine Week Ireland is coming soon, a celebration of the beautiful wines from France’s Rhone Valley, which this year will take place between the 4th to the 11th of November. The team at Piglet Wine Bar will embrace the opportunity to host a very special dinner on the Wednesday 8th of November at 7:00 pm.

They’ll host Thomas Schmittel, who will present some splendid Crozes-Hermitages from Domaine Graillot and Domaine de Lises. You’ll be able to taste not just the delightful reds, but wonderful white wines coming from this prestigious region.

The wines will be accompanied by a four course dinner. The special menu has been created by Head Chef Thomas Loisel specially to match the bottles.

Tickets for this event are priced at €49 per person, and booking is essential. As this is an intimate event and spaces are very limited, early bookings are highly encouraged.

Piglet Wine Bar is located on Cow’s Lane, Temple Bar, and since it opened in 2016, it has quickly become a favourite of wine lovers in Dublin thanks to its laid back concept that combines great wines from independent and small producers, Mediterranean style food with fine ingredients and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere of continental inspiration.

The venue recently had a makeover and among the renovations, they decided to expand the kitchen, allowing them to upgrade the menu and offer more elaborate dishes with the same ethos that characterises them from day one. This wine dinner will give you a perfect opportunity to discover or revisit one of the best wine bars in Dublin.
