For many, after long week at work Friday nights either usually involve little more than landing face down on the couch, and perhaps mustering up the energy to order a take away before you do so, or skipping out of work and straight to the bar.
Taking place Friday, November 17th, Pilates & Chill is fun, social, and uplifting way to spend your Friday night. The event centres around a two-hour Pilates workshop, followed by a guided meditation and healthy food prepared by the team at Cocu.
With years of experience in the Pilates industry, Audrey will first guide you through with an hour-long Pilates class that will focus of the class will be on strength and conditioning the body while developing core power and awareness.
The second hour will help you improve flexibility, mobility and work on myofascial release. Easing tension and releasing tightness in the body after a hectic week.
To round off the workshop there will be a dreamy wind down with a guided meditation – sending you off into the weekend floating on air.
But before you do float out the door Cocu will treat you to a spread of post-Pilates nibbles, prepared by Cocu chef and co-founder Emilia Rowan.
Speaking about the event Emilia said: “We wanted to use the wonderful space we have in Hatch Street, and thought an evening of movement, nourishing food and like-minded people would be the perfect option. Hopefully this will be the first of many.”
The event takes places in Cocu Hatch Street, 4 Station Building, Hatch street, Dublin 2, on Friday, November 17th, 2017 from 7pm – 9.30pm.
