For the first time since its opening, this gorgeous restaurant is hosting a six course wine paired dinner which promises to be an unprecedented and unforgettable evening for oenophiles and food lovers to delight in.
Husband and wife team, Mark and Adriana Fitzpatrick, lovingly restored two of the oldest buildings in the village to create an impressive contemporary building that offers a casual dining experience, and on the Wednesday 13th of September at 7:00 pm, they’ll serve a special menu created by Head Chef Fergal Caffrey to harmoniously complement the fine wines presented by John.

“This Bold New Opening is a Breath of Fresh Air. We popped in on Thursday with an 8pm booking to a relatively busy room with mostly “Malahidians”, a suburb by the way that houses over 30 restaurants, which for the population says a lot about their love of dining out.
From the outside it is hard to believe this was once one of the oldest cottages in the village as it now stands as an impressive contemporary building that somehow manages to blend right in.”

John Hancock is the founding winemaker and an owner of Trinity Hill. One of the most charismatic personalities in the New Zealand Wine Industry, he has over 35 years of experience in the industry and has been involved in numerous success stories in the country, as well as in Australia and France.
John continues to be the “face” of Trinity Hill as he travels around the globe ato promote Trinity Hill wines and the wines of Hawkes Bay and New Zealand in general. He is a senior wine judge in wine shows throughout New Zealand.
