To celebrate the Royal Wedding the House Hotel will be showing the event on television while Afternoon Tea is being served, along with their famous cocktail, ‘The Duchess’.
This bespoke cocktail was specially created for HRH The Duchess of Cornwall Camilla and her visit to The House in 2015 during an official Royal visit to Ireland.
This cocktail is a beautiful blend of Mumm Champagne, Dingle Gin and Elderflower liqueur served with ice cubes infused with with rosemary, lemon, lime and orange and finished with a lemon scented dusting.
The refreshing cocktail was described by The Duchess of Cornwall herself as being ‘quite innocuous’ and ‘packs a bit of a punch. You’ll have to sip it slowly though as it is deceptively strong. Delicious though!’.
The Royal Wedding is set to be one of the largest events in the history of Windsor Castle, so in celebration of this eagerly awaited event head chef Shane Hanly has created a special Royal Afternoon Tea.
This fun afternoon tea will be served with a twist, paying homage to the American and British classics for both Harry and Meghan. Afternoon Tea will include freshly made sandwiches and a host of tempting sweet treats to pair with the fabulous Duchess cocktail.
