Roz Purcell Turns The Marker Hotel Green for St. Patrick’s Festival

The whole world will be turning green over the next couple of days to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. One of the first buildings to embrace the holiday in Dublin is The Marker Hotel on Grand Canal Square. The iconic checkerboard building was lit up in our country’s colour by author Roz Purcell who officially switched on the lights ahead of the St. Patrick’s Day Festival.

To celebrate our national holiday, Executive Chef for The Marker Hotel Gareth Mullins has also introduced a special St. Patrick’s Day themed menu called ‘Beef & Beers’ (€55 for two people).

The menu is a sharing platter for two with a flight of Fox’s Rock Craft beers and three cuts of John Stone beef including slow cooked chilli beef cheeks with whipped avocado, a butcher’s secret with truffle butter and slow cooked brisket hash with roasted garlic aioli.

Available for St. Patrick’s weekend, Friday March 17th until Sunday March 20th in The Brasserie and The Marker Bar.
