Whether it’s childhood nostalgia of a family picnic on the beach or an ice-cream by the sea, Salthill holds a special place in the hearts of Galweigens and visitors to the Galway seaside town alike, and now with the opening of SALT bar and restaurant the scene is set for a whole new host of memories to be created.
The latest addition to one Ireland’s best-loved coastal destinations, SALT recently opened its doors on 163 Salthill and is billed as a ‘A Celebration of Food, Art and Music’.
Bringing a stylish and bohemian feel to the town, from the outset SALT excites with a chic interior complete with abstract art and plush chesterfield, all set against sultry jazz sounds.
Marry this with delectable dishes, signature drinks, extensive wine list, Prosecco on tap and of course the wide selection of independent beers and you’ll see why SALT is primed to be a feast for the taste buds.
SALT will be open from 12 noon daily, offering lunch, dinner and light bites with menus including a diverse range of dishes from Fish Bouillabaisse and Heritage Tomato Salad, to North African-Style Plate of Irish Lamb and Crispy Pork Belly Tacos, as well as the Daily Catch.
