Owned and operated by Patrick O’ Malley and his wife Lisa Creaven, the O’ Malley family come from a long family line of Galway Fishermen and operate the city’s leading chain of fishmongers, also named The Fisherman.So these guys know a thing or two about fresh local produce at it’s finest ! All the seafood dishes at the restaurant are prepared fresh each day from produce caught directly from the boats at Rossaveal.
Overlooking Galway Bay, with stunning views through the feature floor length glass front you can watch the culinary team at work in the open kitchen, and enjoy a tipple of choice from the fully stocked bar as your meal is being prepared. The Fisherman also houses an intimate wine bar perfect for corporate or leisure celebrations. The private room, equipped with its own bar and personal bartender for events, comfortably seats up to 40 guests.
