Show us your local – Drinks Tube

Think of your favourite watering hole; whether it’s a pub, a bar or maybe even your favourite music venue, can you put your finger on what makes it special?

Is it the wonderfully eccentric landlady who always knows your order? Or maybe it’s the pub garden where you while away the summer? Or perhaps the cocktail barman who never fails to blow your mind with his creations?

Drinks Tube is launching a global campaign to champion the people and places that serve your favourite drop.

It’s a chance to heap praise on the people who’ve created and nurtured the pubs, bars and clubs that we love, and encourage others to discover some gems of their own.

How can you get involved? We would LOVE it if you’d join our #ShowUsYourLocal campaign and write a piece about that place that holds a special place in your heart.

In turn, we’ll share your blog through our combined social media channels to keep the #ShowUsYourLocal conversation flowing. It will be a truly collaborative effort; our network of foodie YouTubers are all taking part including Jamie himself who has very strong views on what makes a pub great having grown up in his parents’ pub!

So the next time you’re in a pub and spot one of those things that make going out for drink SO much better than staying at home, share it among your fans with the #ShowUsYourLocal hashtag

How can you take part?

To take part in #ShowUsYourLocal tag your posts with the hashtag and follow @DrinksTube on Twitter, Instagram and www.facebook.com/DrinksTube.
