This Popular Seafood Restaurant Has Just Opened a Slick Seafront Wine Bar

As the evenings get longer and brighter, sundowners are an absolute must. Watching the sunset with a good glass of wine and some delicious bites is one of life’s great pleasures. Add in sea views and you have the perfect evening. Clontarf’s popular Fishbone Restaurant is taking advantage of its ideal location and has just opened casual seafront wine bar Fishtalk upstairs.

Boasting unrivalled views across the Clontarf coast, Fishtalk offers a laid back atmosphere to sit back, relax and sip on an impressive selection of wines on tap, offered either by the glass or 500ml carafe. Glasses start from €6.50, so you can pair a zesty Godello with a couple of kimchi oysters (€5) and feel like you’re spoiling yourself without breaking the bank.

If you feel like settling in with a spread, splurge on a carafe of Albarino and a seriously tempting seafood platter dotted with Dublin Bay Prawns, Korean Monkfish Tacos and Chermoula Tiger Prawns for the ultimate summer evening feast.

If your appetite takes hold, you can also order from Fishbone’s extensive a la carte menu which caters extensively for all tastes, especially those not so keen on the treasures of the deep. Fishtalk will also be serving lots of delicious cocktails, so you can toast to the summer with an Aperol Spritz or a Fishbone Margarita.

Fishtalk sounds like a must-visit this summer and is open seven days a week. For more information visit www.fishbone.ie.
