The Easter holidays are upon us and if you’re worried about how to keep your little ones entertained, look no further because The Marker Hotel has got you covered.
The hotel’s special kids concierge have devised a menu of family activities to keep the little ones entertained throughout the break.
In celebration of Matilda at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, the Marker has sprinkled some Matilda magic onto the children’s menu, with favourites like Bruce Bogtrotter’s chocolate cake capturing the attention of fans. A two course children’s menu is €15 per child. After a day’s activities, wrap them up in children’s robes and enjoy the kid’s swim times in the 23 metre infinity pool in the Spa & Wellness area.
During the Easter break, families will be led on an Easter egg hunt through the hotel from 11am on Easter Sunday – just grab a map and go! If your little explorers want to go further afield, the hotel can provide guided walking and bike tours on request, or alternatively hop on one of the daily complimentary shuttle buses into town to visit one of the many children’s attractions Dublin has to offer.
Bring the outdoors inside with handmade Irish teepees in the room. The teepees are large enough for two children to sleep in and are fitted with fluffy pillows, blankets and a torch! Who said camping wasn’t fun indoors? A turndown of cookies & milk with a bedtime story from Irish author and illustrator Peter Donnelly will complete the night!
If you need some me time during your stay, you can avail of the hotel’s babysitter options. Finally, finish off your weekend stay with dinner in the Brasserie or the hotel’s famous Le Brunch on Sunday afternoon, April 1st.
Afterwards, wind down and celebrate the long weekend with an ‘Easter Egg Martini’ (€13.90) on the hotel rooftop.
