The Cliff Townhouse will be running a series of Summer Seafood Masterclasses with head chef Sean Smith. The seafood masterclasses are designed to be a fun and enjoyable way for guests to learn more about the different styles of cooking and preparing seafood.
Donegal born Sean honed his talents working as Head Chef under Richard Corrigan at renowned restaurant Bentley’s and with Bryn Williams at Orrery in London. Now he is heading up the kitchen at the acclaimed seafood restaurant at The Cliff Townhouse.
Sean is passionate about deeply flavoursome dishes prepared with classic technical precision with great emphasis put on his relationships with local suppliers. Sean will be on hand imparting his knowledge in an exciting and enjoyable masterclass where you will also learn how to choose and buy the freshest fish.
Chef Sean will demonstrate how to cook the finest local fish, giving his top tips to prepare the dishes easily at home. Brush up your culinary skills with expert advice on how to re-create these flavour packed seafood delights.
The Cliff Townhouse will begin its series Summer Seafood Masterclasses on Saturday the 23rd of June at 3.00pm with the following classes taking place on July 14th and August 18th.
The Cliff Townhouse is famed for its seafood offering and is the perfect place to hone your fish cooking skills. They also offer an exciting ‘Afternoon Sea’ – an innovative twist on the classic afternoon tea. Offering the finest fresh seafood including poached prawns, crab claws and potted shrimp.
Tickets to the masterclasses are just €30.00 and include an hour long masterclass, a glass of wine, delicious nibbles and a voucher for a 2 course pre-theatre dinner to the restaurant.
