Whiskey lovers and foodies alike are in for a real treat this month as Conrad Dublin is hosting a very special Teeling Whiskey Tasting Dinner on Thursday 27th September.
Learn all about this beloved spirit while you indulge in a specially designed menu, pairing various Teeling whiskeys to each course. On arrival, guests will be served a bespoke Teeling’s Whiskey cocktail in Conrad Dublin’s Lemuel’s lounge before they sit down to dinner.
Attendees will be treated to a spectacular five-course meal with expertly paired Teeling’s for each course.
To begin this fabulous feast, a starter of Whiskey Cured Wild Irish Salmon paired with Teeling Single Grain will be served. Following this, a delicious Beef and Shitake Mushrooms Consommé.
For the main course, guests can choose between Slow Cooked Grass-Fed Feather Blade of Irish Beef, paired with Teeling Single Malt Or Seared Monkfish – paired with Teeling Small Batch.
To end the meal guests will be treated to Sticky Date Pudding paired with Teeling Single Malt Whiskey and Poached Pear paired with Teeling Revival V.
Tea and coffee will also be served with an option of sampling Teeling’s Brabazon Series 1
Alex Chasko will also be in attendance. Alex is the Master Distiller at Dublin’s Teeling Whiskey Company. He has been involved in developing Teeling’s whiskey and the distillery from the very beginning and has unrivalled knowledge about this famous spirit.
The evening will celebrate this iconic whiskey, which dates back to 1782 when Walter Teeling set up a small distillery on Marrowbone Lane in Dublin 8.
The Teeling Whiskey Distillery is the first operational distillery to open in Dublin in over 125 years. Alex was the first employee at the distillery and has seen it grow from strength to strength.
