Thanksgiving at Suesey Street, the elegant yet relaxes terrace and bar on Fitzwilliam Place, is celebrated this year with a special menu at lunch and dinner. On Thanksgiving day -which falls on Thursday November 24th this year- Suesey Street head chef Graeme Dodrill will add a special set menu with all the dishes you would expect from a traditional all-American Thanksgiving dinner.
Expect to find spiced yam soup with maple syrup toasted pecans, followed by roast ballotine of turkey with chestnut & thyme stuffed sprouts, smoked bacon and cranberry, and a pumpkin tarte tatin with tea poached prunes, pumpkin seed ice cream and pumpkin caramel.
The Thanksgiving at Suesey Street menu is available all day, and costs €34.50 for three courses with traditional sides and teas and coffees to finish.
ABOUT SUESEY STREET
There is a new social destination in Dublin as Suesey Street has opened on Fitzwilliam Place, promising good times in the bar, great food from the kitchen and a relaxed vibe on the terrace. The Suesey Street name harks back to Georgian times and was the original name for Leeson Street in the 1700s. The venue was formerly Brasserie Le Pont and now offers a more informal approach to drinking and dining.
The three main areas (bar, restaurant and terrace) have been redesigned and refurbished to create a welcoming space full of atmosphere and comfort. The entrance bar is laid-back luxe, its beautiful marble top gleams under the warm glow cast from the lamps. A carefully curated art collection reflects the louche atmosphere of the dining room, with a cheeky nod to the clientele of the old Leeson Street era.
