PENTHOUSE SUITE AT THE CLARENCE HOTEL

Sometimes we all need a little luxury, a space to escape. The Clarence two floor Penthouse is simple luxury with everything you might need to lock yourself away from the world. At over 2,000 Square Feet, The Penthouse offers maximum city centre living space and the panoramic rooftop terrace affords majestic views of Dublin, a stunning view of our city and beyond.

On the Ground Floor, you will find the Master Bedroom with large ensuite bathroom, as well as a second spacious Double Bedroom. There is a fully fitted kitchen where you can have chef prepare dinner for your loved ones.

Take the spiral staircase to the upstairs open plan living room, off which the Penthouse balcony runs the length of the hotel and overlooks the River Liffey below.

THE STUDY AT THE CLARENCE HOTEL

The Study lies at the front of the hotel, beside reception and is the first port of call on arrival and usually the last port of call before bed! It gives The Clarence the warm feel of staying in a private home and is where many of the property’s original features have been retained.

The Study is home to some of the most impressive Guggi paintings in our collection as well as our handcrafted Irish contemporary chandeliers.

Here you can enjoy a freshly brewed coffee over the morning papers, or a casual working lunch. The menu runs from morning into evening and The Study is a great place to rest a while from the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar or to get your bearings over a map before hitting up Dublin city and the adventures that await you beyond our doors.

The Study also doubles as our residents lounge, open 24 hours to all our guests with full food & beverage service around the clock, so you’ll never go hungry or thirsty with us.

OCTAGON BAR AT THE CLARENCE HOTEL

The Octagon Bar is at the heart of The Clarence, a beautiful room situated in the exact same space as the original hotel bar. With an octagon shaped dome rising high above the central bar, it is the perfect setting for a glamorous gathering of friends over cocktails or pre match pints with mates.

The Back Bar boasts many original features including the stunning Art Deco floor and windows, and the original hotel clock that sits proudly over the open fireplace. A wonderful retreat on a cold day, the fireside seats are the most coveted part of the Back Bar in Autumn and Winter. Relax with a fine whiskey and a classic book and while the day away in comfort and peace.

The original snug is also intact, an intimate and cosy space for a tete-a-tete over champagne or a good old fashioned argument over brandies!

A delicious bar food menu designed by the chefs at Cleaver East is available in The Octagon Bar daily from 12pm to 8pm.
