The Dublin Bay Prawn Festival Returns on St. Patrick’s Day

The ever popular Dublin Bay Prawn Festival is set to return to the beautiful seaside suburb of Howth on Saturday, March 17th. The perfect way to spend St. Patrick’s Day, the festival offers a feast of activities for seafood lovers and plenty to taste and savour and will go on until March 19th.

The seafood-centric weekend fete is always packed with locals and visitors looking to taste their way around the coast and this year’s food festival village line up is not to be missed.

Much loved restaurants King Stiric, The Brass Monkey, East Café Bar, Findlaters, Octopussy, The Oar House, Boqueria and Aqua, amongst others, will have food stalls offering the freshest seafood imaginable and allowing visitors to try an array of different delights from the deep.

In addition to this, popular chefs like Kwangi Chan from TV3’s Six O’Clock Show, Matt Fuller from Boqueria, Siobhan Quinn-McDonagh and John Fitzmaurice will be holding cooking demos so you can up your skill set while feasting on delicious seafood.

If ever there was a reason to hop on the DART to Howth for the day, the Dublin Bay Prawn Festival is it – the perfect alternative Paddy’s Day celebration. All we need now is some decent weather for the day!
