The Guinness Storehouse Announces Details of St. Patrick’s Celebrations

The Guinness Storehouse announced details of its 2016 St. Patrick’s Festival celebrations, which will showcase some of Ireland’s best beer, food and music. Celebrating its tenth year, the five day festival will kick off on Wednesday, 16th March 2016 and run to Sunday, 20th March with a series of contemporary Irish experiences including special performances by popular Irish rock group Na Fíanna.

Visitors to the Guinness Storehouse will discover what goes into the making of GUINNESS®; the history of the world famous brand; and of course, enjoy a pint of Guinness in the famous GRAVITY® bar with views across Dublin. Guests will also have the chance to enjoy complimentary canapés paired with samples of new Guinness innovations.

Over the five days, the Guinness Storehouse will come alive with céilí flash mob performances popping up, encouraging visitors to test their Irish dancing skills. Visitors will also be entertained by a variety of Irish music talent, internationally acclaimed marching bands and contemporary Irish céilí musicians performing spectacular shows.

Announcing the Guinness Storehouse’s St Patrick’s Festival 2016, Paul Carty, Managing Director, Guinness Storehouse said, “The St. Patrick’s Festival is a fantastic way to kick off the tourism season at the Guinness Storehouse, and our national holiday celebrations are always a highlight in the calendar. Embracing the fun and lively spirit of St Patrick’s we will also be rolling out the green carpet and welcoming all Patricks, Patricias, Paddys, Pedros and Podges* for free on March 17th.”

This St. Patrick’s Day the Guinness Storehouse is also offering a unique guided tour as Gaeilge to visitors to mark Seachtain na Gaeilge . The tour will run at 11am on the 17th March and can be booked by contacting the Guinness Storehouse Bookings Team on 01 408 4800.
