The other night I bumped into the restaurateur and investors of The Unicorn – they told me how excited they were at the venue’s renaissance. It being my mother’s favourite restaurant of all time, when I moved to Dublin the first comment she made was, “go to The Unicorn”. Thus, I was more than keen to hear what they were doing.
The plan was to bring back elegance, excitement and a creative innovative menu such as a prosecco with fried oysters, risotto and pappardelle with rabbit, wild garlic & porcini. The wine menu is equally well thought out; add the friendly and flawless service and I believe the Unicorn will succeed.
