Three to Try: Our Top Picks from Tindal Wines’ Portfolio Tasting

Last Tuesday 6th of February, we attended a tasting of wines from the comprehensive portfolio of Tindal Wine Merchants, a family-owned importer bringing fine wines from both Europe and the New World into the Irish market.

The event, held at the stylish Marker Hotel, was followed by a consumer tasting on the same evening, where wine lovers discovered over 35 wine producers coming from around 40 regions.

Elegance and balance. This organic Riesling offers a crisp and harmonius combination of white flowers and a stone river-like minerality.

Douro, Portugal

Spicy and lean, this dry Portuguese red by Quinta do Vesuvio offers floral aromas with dark, ripe berries and a hint of cocoa on the palate.

Vanilla and clove together with a pleasant toastiness are delivered by gentle tannins.
