Day-Time Favourite Urbanity Coffee Announces New Evening Menu

Despite its location, hidden away on Coke Lane in Smithfield, Urbanity Coffee has gained massive recognition and popularity since it opened 18 months ago, so much so, they have announced a new evening menu with business times extending into the evening.

Owned and operated by Jason Mac an Tsionnaigh, the cafe was initially designed as an all day casual dining venue, but will now open from Wednesday to Friday in the evening, with last orders to the kitchen at 9pm.

According to FFT.ie, the new monthly changing menu will include small plates such as fried olives in batter and polenta fries, as well as larger plates for sharing such as pickled mackerel and cardamom smoked short ribs.

Accompanying the new menu is a wine list that includes six red and six white wines.

During the day, Urbanity Coffee will still offer a breakfast menu, lunch two specials, brisket and pastrami and tempting cakes and bakes.

Owner Jason has also expressed plans for further expansion, with a another café on the opposite side of the river in the Dublin 8 on the agenda.
