Channel the glamour of eras gone by at one of today’s hottest festivals at the spectacular Masquerade Ball at Body&Soul 2017, hosted by Champagne house Veuve Clicquot on Saturday, 24th June.
Guests are invited to dress up, evoking Versailles’ golden times within the 17th Century Ballinlough Castle where they will encounter mischievous masked revellers and seductive masqueraders.
The Correspondents, “Kings of Hip Hop Swing”, will provide the main attraction in the selected soundtrack of this unforgettable evening of Champagne sipping and mystery.
In tune with the ‘Festival Full of Surprises’ theme, the evening will culminate in a ‘Spectacle of Sparkles’, a signature farewell at Veuve Clicquot occasions.
Attending guests must adorn themselves in suitable masked attire for complimentary entry, and as the venue is limited only in space, early arrivals will be rewarded with one of the world’s finest champagnes, served from its signature yellow goblets, just perfect to toast the summer solstice.
Back in the 21st Century, festival foodies in other areas of the festival are invited to join Veuve Clicquot and Food on Board for a weekend of ‘Sparkling Conversations’ in the Champagne Bar, where a long line of celebrated guest speakers awaits them, eager to inspire, inform and provoke throughout the weekend including, among others, an appearance from the world’s top female sommelier Julie Dupouy who will share her insights around food pairing and fine Champagne.
