Experience Fun and Fantasy at This Year’s Veuve Clicquot Masquarade Ball at Body&Soul
As dusk descends on Saturday, June 23rd at Body&Soul, Veuve Clicquot will be transporting attendees to a world of fantasy and fun at the Veuve Clicquot ‘House of Rose’ Masquerade Ball.
Inspired by the daring spirit of Madame Clicquot, this year’s Masquerade Ball encapsulates her character, her story and her maverick ways. The inimitable ‘Grand Dame of Champagne’ broke with the accepted norms of her time to pioneer the world’s first ever blended Rosé Champagne. At this year’s Body& Soul, they will be celebrating the 200th anniversary of Rosé Champagne and the legendary pioneer herself.
Be immersed in a spectacular space, uplifting disco beats and whimsical party vibes. With sparkling theatrics, dazzling dancers and bountiful burlesque, the Veuve Clicquot Masquerade Ball brings an atmosphere of theatrical glamour and masked decadence to this year’s Body&Soul.
Find your favourite costume in old-fashioned pomp and ceremony, reawaken your Marie Antoinette or a bygone Charleston era, to twist and twirl amidst the throngs of dress-suited, mischievous masked revellers and seductive masqueraders.
The ball begins with the varied and eclectic beats of Aoife O’ Neill as she eases you in with her uplifting disco vibes. Jus Damien will offer up a finely-tuned selection of 80’s High Energy, New Disco and Electro beats before Big Daddy Can delivers his pure party vibes and feel good beats.
DJ Colin Devine, resident at some of Dublin’s top venues and international festivals including Burning Man, brings his rendition of ‘guilty pleasures’ to keep you on the dance floor. Closing out the evening, a two-piece soundscape with their own original music, PrYmary Colours brings you energetic music for an all-round upliftingly good time.
Be sure to join the strange and beautiful, fierce and fanciful souls that embody the innovative, charismatic, fearless nature of The Grand Dame of Champagne. Raise a toast with the world’s finest champagne, in its signature champagne goblets, to the 200th anniversary of her magical creation of all things sparkling and pink, Rosé Champagne!
