This Sunday, 11th of June, Street Feast is back for its 7th edition celebrating once again friendship and community spirit through outdoor lunches across Ireland. Street Feast events are taking place all over the country, like the one organised by the residents of Grand Canal Dock. To find your nearest Street Feast visit their official page and get involved in this great opportunity to meet friends old and new, enjoy the summer and share delicious homemade food together.
A spectacular celebration of all things seafaring, The Irish Maritime Festival once again takes over Drogheda Port, County Louth this Saturday and Sunday. A feast of maritime fun, the festival also promises a Taste of Ireland’s Ancient East allowing visitor to experience some of the finest foods that the region has to offer. Open from 11.00am to 6.00pm both days, foodies can expect displays, tastings and demonstrations, including by food writer and TV chef Tara Walker who will reveal her favourite local ingredients, as well as a food market with hot food stalls, and local drinks, such as the new triple-casked Slane Irish Whiskey.
After the smashing success of the last 3 years, The June Ball team have proved they know how to throw a party. This year, on Saturday June 1oth, they are organising The June Party In The Park all in aid of IMNDA. Included in the price of your ticket is a glass of bubbly and strawberries on arrival, an array of gourmet food options, alongside a six team Polo Competition for your viewing pleasure. After a day of polo, live music and DJs the party continues into the night, with guests set to move into town for the afterparty in The Amber Rooms.
Gin, Glorious Gin!… that’s how the song goes right? Either way gin lovers be singing all the way to The Hill Pub in Ranelagh this Saturday to celebrate World Gin Day. The same pub which held a three day ‘Gin Festival’, from 3pm all G&T’s, made with a wide selection of gins from all over the world and various tonics, are just €6. We’ll drink to that!
