Beat the Autumn Blues at this Weekend’s Fitness, Healthy Food and Yoga Filled Pop Up

This May WellFest, Ireland’s only health, fitness and wellness festival, drew in a crowd of over five thousand fitness lovers to their third annual event in Herbert Park, Dublin. Luckily you don’t have to wait until next year to get your fitness fix as this Saturday 21st WellFest will host a pop-up in the Smock Alley Theatre.

A day of wellness awaits gym addicts, yoga bunnies and anyone else you wants a dose of WellFest fun.

After a breakfast with Glenisk attendees with get the chance to experience one of the newest fitness concepts sweeping Dublin, POUND Fitness with Carla.

An energetic, exhilarating full-body workout, POUND combines cardio, conditioning and strength training, and uniquely adds lightly weighted drumsticks into the mix.

After working up a sweat guests will enjoy a wholesome lunch and have the opportunity to meet the faces behind some of our favourite Irish brands Dr Coy’s, best known for its ‘nutritional’ chocolate, athleisure clothing experts Gym+Coffee, and FEED, a range of plant based meal pots designed to keep you fuller for longer.

Fully fuelled after lunch, Miriam Kerins Hussey, an Integrated Wellness and Nutritional Coach, Holistic Healing Practitioner, Yoga teacher AND qualified Pharmacist, will be drawing on her extensive mix of qualifications to give a talk on nutritional wellbeing.

The mind and body benefits don’t end there, to end the day Naomi from Elements Yoga lead a dynamic yoga flow before guiding yogis into a blissful meditation.

Kicking off your weekend in the best possible way, this day of wellness will leave you not only a high but with a rather lovely goodie bag too.
