The French Wine Trade Show Returns to Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on February 2nd
For the 10th edition of the French Wine Trade Show, Business France is gathering 24 wine companies from all French wine regions with more than 250 wines to introduce into the Irish trade. Irish wine importers and journalists will have a unique opportunity to discover and taste some of the renowned wines of France at the Aviva Stadium, on Thursday 2nd February 2017, from 1:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
Many partnerships between French wineries and Irish importers have been created after the networking opportunities presented at this event. Organised as a walk-in tasting, this is a full Tour de France (Provence, Bordeaux, South-West, Rhône, Alsace, Loire, Bourgogne, Beaujolais, Champagne, Languedoc) under one roof!
For the first time, visitors will have the opportunity to attend a 45min masterclass : “France: traditional terroir wines vs modern winemaking techniques’’. Is wine the product of Nature of the craft of men? Are winemakers enhancing the expression of their terroir or interfering with it? France, one of the world’s key producers of high quality wines, offers examples from both visions, and beyond the common Bordeaux VS Burgundy, let’s dive into the great variety of styles France has to offer.
