It seems the days of the Sunday fear following late nights out over the weekend may be on the decline. Well at least if the stellar attendance for this years WellFest is anything to go by.
Over 5,000 people descended on Dublin’s Herbert park this weekend for the third annual WellFest, Ireland’s only health, wellness and fitness festival.
The sell-out two day event, sponsored by KBC and BMW Ireland, saw a host of international and national stars sharing tips and hosting sessions on all things health, nutrition, fitness and wellness related.
Headliners at the event included:
Joe Wicks AKA The Body Coach, the man behind the ‘Lean in 15’ phenomenon; Coach John Kavanagh; The Happy Pear; Roz Purcell; Svava Sigbertsdottir, founder of the Viking Method; Shona Vertue, the woman who converted David Beckham to yoga; and the Southern Yogi & Keoni.
Herbert Park was split into 10 ‘WellZones’ all dedicated to a different area of health, fitness and wellness.
They included a WellStage, WellFood, WellKids, WellTalk, WellMind, WellYoga, WellStrong and WellPilates.
WellFest co-founder Katie Ryan said the organisers were delighted with the turnout and line-up for the event, with tickets sold out across the weekend.
