Cork people know no better joy than making a delicious dinner with a haul of fresh and local ingredients straight from The English Market.
Now, as part of Taste Cork 2016, you can take a night away from the stove and enjoy a four course dinner showcasing some of the finest produce The English Market has to offer.
Organised by Dermot O’ Sullivan, the pastry chef behind the GasMarkSeven blog, and Pam Kelly, Head Chef at Market Lane and Wild Garlic catering, diners at the ‘A Celebration of The English Market’ pop-up dinner on Thursday 13th of October can expect a meal based around the spoils of The English Market.
Paired with wine and craft beers, the four course meal will give you a true taste of some of Cork’s most acclaimed artisan producers in the comfortable surroundings of On The Pig’s Back cafe Douglas, Cork.
Guest speakers on the night are Artisan Fish Smoker Frank Hederman, Isabelle Sheridan of On The Pig’s Back, and Toby Simmonds from Toonsbridge Dairy.
The dinner will take place in On the Pigs Back Cafe Deli in Douglas, from 7-10pm on Thursday 13th of October.
