Ben & Jerry’s Expected to Drop New Bourbon Flavoured Ice Cream

Put those healthy eating New Years resolutions on hold, for some news has just landed that most definitely will derail all your good intentions. A new Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavour combining two of America’s (and our) favourite things, ice cream and bourbon, will hit the freezer aisle in a few months.

The flavor titled Urban Bourbon features burnt caramel ice cream with almonds, fudge flakes, and bourbon caramel swirls.

Another scoop is the news of another new flavour, Truffle Kerfuffle, which features vanilla ice cream with roasted pecans, fudge chips, and a salted chocolate ganache swirl.

While Ben & Jerry’s have yet to make an official announcement, they have registered the trademark for the flavors named ‘Urban Bourbon’ and ‘Truffle Kerfuffle’.

Adding even more weight to the claims is the leaking of the packaging art, which saavy Instagrammer Candy Hunting, who tracks down all the newest ‘junk foods’, got their hands on.

Not the first time the company got involved with our favourite brown liquor, in Spring 2016 they released Bourbon Brown Butter (bourbon ice cream with dark chocolate whiskey cordial cups and a bourbon brown butter swirl), and a limited edition Bourbon Pecan Pie (bourbon ice cream, pecans, shortbread cookie pieces and a whiskey caramel swirl) was also released in Texas.

Both new flavours are expected launch soon.
