Best Possible Taste Podcast – Drummond House Garlic and More

In this week’s Best Possible Taste Podcast, Sharon Noonan visits Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel in Adare, Co Limerick.

She meets owner Mary Fitzgerald to hear about the hotel’s development over the past 40 years, and also hears about Mary’s plans for the future.

Marita Varley from Drummond House Garlic speaks to Sharon about the excitement following her garlic’s recognition at the Euro-Toques Food Awards.

The awards were started by Myrtle Allen in 1996 and are presented to five Irish producers of “food of notable flavor and quality” every year.

All products considered are nominated by members before a shortlist is compiled by a Food Council committee.

Finally, Sally McKenna shares details about the Theatre of Food line up at this year’s Electric Picnic.

Theatre of Food is where the most talented food lovers in Ireland get all funky, all weekend long. Theatre of Food presents a mind-expanding, mind-altering concept of what Irish food is all about.
