Bray Has a New Rooftop Restaurant and it Looks Well Worth the Trip

Summer may be dead and gone, but we’re still partial to a little dining al fresco and pretending we’re on our holidays eating by the sea. Lucky for us, the seaside town of Bray is now home to a brand new rooftop grill and garden, Cowfish, which looks too stunning to miss.
Cowfish gets its name from one of our favourite dishes, Surf and Turf, and the turf in this case is seriously tempting indeed, as steaks are sourced from FX Buckley and can be served sliced for sharing. Cooked to perfection on a Josper grill, tucking in to one of these and soaking up sea views sounds like the perfect evening.

The menu also includes tempting small plates like Lamb Cutlets with fennel bread (€11), Pan-Seared Scallops with celeriac velouté (€11) and Crab Croquettes with wasabi (€9) so there is something for everyone at very keen prices.

Not too far from the DART station, getting to Cowfish is easier than it sounds and it means you can indulge in some of their hand-crafted cocktails like Bray Bré, Hendricks Basil Smash and Raspberry Elderflower Gin, all well priced from €8.50 to €10.

If you’re not convinced about dining outdoors in the colder months, they also have a fire pit to ensure you are toasty warm as you toast to a delicious evening.
