You Need to Add The Newly Opened Clontarf Baths to Your Weekend Plans

The Clontarf Baths Bar & Restaurant are now open following their highly-anticipated restoration.

While the pool will open later this spring, you can sample the food and drink on offer at the moment, and also just pop by for a good old fashioned look around.

Writing on their website, the owners stated that “yes, it’s good to be back”. Likely a place we’ll spend many a summer’s day, take a look at some of the amazing photos of Clontarf Baths.

In terms of the food offering, you can enjoy everything from Dublin Bay Prawns and The Baths Chowder to Oysters, Leinster Lamb and Chilli Glazed Tofu.

There are also a number of pizzas and sweet treats like a heavenly Chocolate and Pistachio Tart, Gorse Flower Rice Pudding and Knickerbocker Glory.

A selection of cocktails, beers, ciders, wines and sparkling wines are also available so you can sit back and relax for hours.

First opened in 1886, the Clontarf Baths were a huge hit with the locals until they closed in 1996.

Lovingly restored, The Baths are sure to reclaim their spot in the hearts of a new generation of Irish people, from Dublin and beyond.
