Last night, 7th February, Dublin Town launched the ninth edition of Dine in Dublin 2017, with a fabulous showcase of Dublin’s finest culinary offerings. All the major players on the city’s food scene were seen at the launch, where they were treated to a unique six course menu curated by six of the city’s top chefs, with interactive live demonstrations on the night.
Attendees to the launch included Richard Guiney, Dublin Town CEO, Clyde Carroll, Director of Marketing and Communications at Dublin Town, top chefs, Temple Garner, Andrew Rudd, Dylan McGrath and Nick Munier, fashion designer, Brendan Courtney, top model, Lynn Kelly, radio DJ, Ruth Scott and many more.
The evening began with a cocktail reception by Sam’s Bar, Dawson Street. Andrew Rudd of Medley was the night’s MC and he treated guests to an amuse bouche of rare Lambay Island venison fillet just before taking to the fabulous Mansion House’s stage to introduce each chef and the dishes they created especially for the launch.
Guests rolled up their sleeves as well, as volunteers from all tables were involved behind the scenes, interacting with Richie Wilson of FIRE to get a glimpse to what being a sous chef on a busy kitchen is like!
